Though it was an appropriate time to bring some of favourites among my own work together in an album, with a short monograph to accompany.

1. Road under your wheels

My largest collaboritive venture to date, created from the embarrassment of riches provided by the users of hitrecord. I couldn't have created this edit without the amazing contribution from kelliebean, who wrote the words, and the still vastly imho under-rated piece of music from Pete Conrad, called Majesty. Together the music and words bring the images alive, and create more than the sum of its parts. I'm still humbled by the huge response I got for this collaboration.

2. Sunrise Sonata

Managed to convince my mother and sister to get up before the crack of dawn to grab some footage at the seaside in Clonea, a mile from my mother's house. Continuing the Lizziemackie theme, the soundtrack is "Lucid musician" which is another wonderful piece of music.

3. video for "To This v2"

My aim was to create a music video for Lizziemackie, using a fantastic song of hers called "To This", plus some footage she had recorded on the beach in New Zealand. I cut this together with some footage I shot on a beach in Ireland. The magic of the internet  :)

4. Respect the beast

I love the effect "Respect the Beast" has on those who dare to watch it, I was going for sort of a H.P. Lovecraft vibe :) With demonic vocals by Via. :)

5. Fortress of Solitude

Shot in my local forest during a cold snap in December, taking advantage of the weird and wonderful ice sculptures created by nature. This is the first edit where I really tried to cut the images to the beat of the music, a rousing orchestral piece by reneg88.
