Urban exploration & industrial ruins resources

[Note: all links in this RECord open in a new window. THANK YOU Marke for this wonderful rich text editing that makes the links and the italicized book title possible!]

I've come across this wonderful book in my academic research:

Tim Edensor. Industrial Ruins: Space, Aesthetics and Materiality. Oxford: Berg Publishing, 2005.

He lists several websites in the book, all of which are gone except www.infiltration.org

If you're not already familiar with them, these other sites might be of interest too:

http://detroityes.com - "The Fabulous Ruins of Detroit"
www.heidelberg.org - The Heidelberg Project, Detroit

Also, Shane Gorski has done some excellent photography in Detroit, especially in the Michigan Central Station. You can search under his name in google images, or go to his etsy page:

(I don't know him personally, I've just fallen in love with his work online.
