Now that the first version of the "They Can't Turn the Lights Off Now" REmix is up, it's time to go diggin' in the crates of the Public Domain and find footage of HISTORICAL ICONS OF CHANGE so that we can feature a montage of them toward the end of the REmix.

Here's a list of suggested historical icons that RegularJOE and I are looking for:

* Harvey Milk
* Eleanor Roosevelt
* Rosa Parks
* Mahatma Gandhi
* Martin Luther King, Jr.
* Edward R. Murrow
* Nelson Mandella
* Malcolm X
* Andy Warhol
* Footage of the African Anti-Apartheid movement and footage of protests in Paris during 1968.
* And ANY OTHER HISTORICAL ICONS OF CHANGE THAT YOU GUYS CAN THINK OF. :)

Here's the preferred method of contribution:

* Download the entire clip as an MPEG-4 (high-res if possible) from a Public Domain video site.
* Trim down the original clip to the best footage of the historical icon and upload just the edited down footage.
* Include the original Public Domain link in your description.
