where the nevernotwuz falls
no, not the nevernotwuz falls
not the water
but the blossom
from the tree

for the name nevernotwuz
came about only because
there grew the glory that was
the nevernotwuz tree

you see the nevernotwuz tree
it was the sweetest of the trees
a tree who’s blossoms
were the sweetest they could be

and the nevernotwuz fruit
was quite a lovely one, to boot
which held a secret
buried deep inside the seeds
