Marcelle's RErecommendations 9/24/10
1. The Time Traveler by Malicore - beautifully put together and contains images that could be used for many other things.
2. The Anglerpod Waits and Waits by RichieMillennium - I'm so happy with his voice and his timing on the piece. I feel as though he really captured the attitude of the "anglerpod noir" I imagined when I saw fajigajiga's stunning world.
3. Cardboard Imagination - Another inspiring piece by fajigajiga, Very Gondry, in my mind as what I think Gondry represents which is a fun creative spirit with a kind of no limitations way to telling a story.
4. The Whiz Kid - by Kartunehustla I just think his characters are so captivating and I would love to see them animated fighting crime on Saturday morning cartoons for my future kids to watch. I am not an animator, but i would love to see someone work with Kartunehustla to get a short put together where we could see his characters talk.
5. Re: Cities (second try) by Claire Dee, I thought her contribution to the Cities Collab was by far the most impressive, because i feel like she took a ton of footage and really made it seem like it was all one, which is really hard to do. And the product is enjoyable to watch.
6. Little Black Hat by Neha Ska, love this track. do i smell a music video?
7."Falling Apart" Neha Ska vs. happybodyslowbrain by haus of glitch. amazing. pretty, versatile. people need to make footage for this that is apart from the live acts, because this song stands up on its own.
8. Midnight Bike Ride by Bob, do i hear cyclist's collaboration a brewin? I hope so.
