My second attempt! (I started the other one as an ordinary file...oops. Thank goodness for copy and paste.)

Okay, so I've noticed that lots of people from Europe (myself included) are really gutted about not being able to go to the Fall-Tastic Formal of HitRECord Wonderfulness (and I'm not even being hyperbolic! I love HitRECord). However, I've decided that crying into my cup of English tea is only going to dehydrate me, and that instead I should be doing something more useful. Like uniting with you guys and making something beautiful!

So, I thought it would be fun to have a Europe themed Collaboration. Europe is like nowhere else in the world, with so many different cultures, languages, histories and beauty all packed into one continent. Europe is pretty eccentric, and I love that about it!

Of course, the joy of the HitRECord community is that it works best when everyone contributes. Even if the closest to Europe you've ever been is seeing it on the telly, please still HitRECord! In fact, concepts of Europe from those who have never been here will be especially interesting.

Any ideas of where we could start on this? My vision is a kind of layered collage of places all over Europe, creating a sort of European imaginary dreamscape. A layered, lacey, colourful fantasy land constructed of real places. Maybe with a story tying it all together? (Calling all writers!)
