@Dwayne, yeah, I know what you mean about other social sites. It seems like it's all for a show, Yet, it's really hard to put on a show when you're sharing bits of yourself that you've made. I like to think that's a part of what makes HR so wonderful.
@Rae, welcome to HitRECord! It's a fascinating wonderland and full of people you never knew could understand you so well. I love the community and the concrit and it's so nice to know others do too.

jesterlady you're so right, I know I haven't been here long but I can see that what you said is true. I haven't been creative for too long, for my own reasons I locked it all up and never let it out (what I let out may not be amazing but its mine and that's fine), I hit RECord and it has given me the chance to let it out in a place that I can share what I do with other people and share their work as well which is better than going it alone. Thankyou hitRECord just for being you and thankyou jesterlady for saying it

I like the way you put that. I used to get on facebook or myspace and I just can't stand how people are so ungenuine for the most part. I know this site has a different purpose and meaning but it is very cool to see people that are just wanting to share themselves creatively with others. Everyone seems so open and inviting and that is really great, too.

	Metaphorest has given a simple and yet effective way of describing this place and what it does. I hit RECord because my creativity is stifled when I'm trying to create all on my own with limited resources and nobody else who thinks like me. This place means that I can expand and grow and share beautiful things with other people. People who are, as she put it, a family. A family of creators who are always hitting RECord and doings things again by heart. What's more-they're original, they're collaborative, they're given a chance.
