This is, of course, for the HitRECord Superhero collaboration. At first I had planned on writing an epic battle of good versus evil, but first I thought it prudent if our hero first had a proper introduction:

Joe A. Verage, known as AJ to those closest to him, appeared to be just an ordinary, everyday, run of the mill talent scout as he walked through the busy streets of New York—but in actuality, he had a secret… a secret which he had kept close to his chest ever since he discovered it as a child.

For you see, Joe was not as ‘average’ as he appeared; he possessed a rather unique ability… Joe, despite the image he showed to the world, had the ability to inspire change.

This, of course, did not mean that he could create something from nothing, but rather, he could tap into the creative center of any human’s brain and give them the ability to create something wonderful using their own talents.

In essence, he had the ability to bring people together and using everyone’s combined efforts, make truly grand things.

By day he was Joe A. Verage, but by night—and on some occasions, the day as well—he was… Captain Collaborate.

Other Ideas:

I had all sorts of ideas on what to write, and one of them was the "origin" of Captain Collaborate, since all superhero's have one, right?

I thought that maybe it'd be his high school/college graduation, and maybe someone (wink wink) set off a plan to ruin it, and its up to our hero to get everyone to work together to thwart it.

Also, I wasn't sure whether to give him a "secret identity" because, well, being the type of hero he is seems more like a full time job.

Oh, and totally unrelated, but I couldn't shake the thought of Joe A. Verage walking down the street ripping off his shirt a la Superman to reveal his costume underneath. XD

*cough* Anyway, now that Captain Collaborate has been introduced, maybe we can begin the process of creating adventures for him?
