I enjoyed pixel pilgrim's testimonial Soundbytes for Invitation, so thought I'd share some of my impressions and thoughts about HitRECord too. RAW and unedited - I stumble and stutter a little bit in spots (umm, ya know, ya know, umm, ya know - it's like a verbal tic or something) but like - it makes it more real, ya know?
Stream of consciousness thoughts about the editorial process, the importance of good resources, and parallels to the collaboration between writer Harvey Pekar and artist R. Crumb in American Splendor. And...lots of kudos to the HitRECord contributors thus far.
