This video was one of the most challenging videos I've done. Balancing the memorable moments from the first "Summer In the City!" with fast-paced visuals, a soundtrack that captures the emotion of the night, and putting it together into a comprehensive story in under three minutes is seemingly impossible.

Dr. Gory set the bar insanely high with his "Nutshell" RECord. He's got a lot of photos, audio bytes, and an array of supporting imagery that present "SITC!" in all its Technicolor glory. My new version doesn't attempt to be as in-depth as his. He nailed the storytelling aspect! Just nailed it!

"Summer REcap" merely serves as a bridge between "Nutshell" and my earlier, and much more abstract RECord, "Summer On the Moon."

After viewing this several times it's always going to be unfortunate to have trimmed out some of the funnier moments (like the tequila shot, the Quicktime error, and many other little bits.) But that's editing. Some things fit into some structured edits while others don't.

I hope you all enjoy this interpretation of the REcap concept,a long with all the others that are pouring in. It's a night I'll never forget. <3
