I did a study in which I wanted to compare Broad Street and South Street in Philadelphia. I think Broad Street, which is currently the Avenue of the Arts, is usually not that theatrical despite the fact that it contains many of the biggest theaters in Philly. But South Street, which only has one theater, is a much more vibrant and essentially theatrical street. I only wished that more performance spaces and public spaces would be created on South Street.
