Dragonfly Metamorphosis
After seeing shadow88storm's fantastic dragonfly photo, I remembered this shot from last summer. This is a photo of a dragonfly that has just emerged from the "nymph" stage. His (or her) wings have not yet opened and you can see the empty nymph skin to the left. I have no idea what all of those other critters might be, apparently this lilypad is the hot spot for weird looking bugs.
