To have loved and to have lost is not best, although is seems

eternal love does not exist except in words and lovers dreams.

When chance or fate two lives entwine for some time they will share bliss,

but sure is death then so is pain I don't know much but I know this.

I do not wish to speak of love with bitter tongue or cruel intent,

for I have known its warm embrace and don't regret a minute spent.

I hope some day I'll find someone on whom I know I can depend,

but Should I ever love again, at least I'll know that all things end.
