I've never seen Alice In Wonderland (yes, yes I know, that's crazy) but I saw some clips of the Cheshire Cat and figured his character was cheeky, sneaky and possibly shady. I picked this line because it's rather well known, I'll go for a longer verse or multiple characters next time.

I think my favorite thing about this record is that I am so used to thinking of the Cheshire cat as male, and the recording is so clearly feminine... your reading conjures up images of a woman of terrifying beauty with sharp teeth and unnerving, vacant eyes
