(For the same story different ending collab and inspired by sojushots wonderful image!)
Beauty learned important lessons from her wise old mother One such being 'never judge a novel by its cover' So when she met a heinous Beast and he produced a flower Beauty didn’t frown or fret, she didn’t cry or cower
Instead, she courteously smiled and thanked him for the present Despite the fellow’s frightening front, she made her greeting pleasant ‘How do you do, kind sir?’ she said, her blue eyes twinkling bright ‘Hungry’ he growled and snatched her up and scoffed her in one bite
And if to you this story seems too cynical or sad Just think on all the duds you’ve read whose covers too were bad |
