Love this story soju! When I read it I always thing of the stars as those treasured secrets you share with a loved one, so I think this would be perfect for the RE: Secrets collab (or is that just my interpretation?)

When I read this, first thing that came on my mind was this: Paper covered with thick coat of black tempera (with just a little water added to tempera, so that brush strokes are visible and tangible/pointed out) and when it is dried just sprinkle dust over it (dust from the ground). Or for more "fancy" version sprikle with silver make up loose pigments.

I love this tiny story! I want to see illustrations. Not having any drawing skill whatsoever kills me every time this happens. That's a lot of deaths, I'll have you know. :D
