Text_notecard_shadow_top_left One day the fox succeeded in catching a fine fat goose asleep in the garden... he bit on her wing... dragging her down... while he hissed and cackled...

'Why my pretty, I will strip your flesh to the bone, white and bare before the morning sun...'

Worried mothers watched from afar, but their clucking deafened the girl's cries, misheard and ignored over television sets and other human crafted toys, nobody came to her aid.

The only companion in her desperate struggle was not a man, nor a woman but her murderer the fox.

When finally found, she was a meal eaten, picked apart, her wings loose, body strewn.

Yet as the fox escaped into his lair, gleeful and belly full, he forgot that night to lock his bedroom window...

So that one night a jealous cat, angered by the foxes presence, came to prowl. It snuck through the window gap and waited... waited... eyes ever watching.

Then I went to work, with net and steel wire... I said to the fox,
Beautiful killer,

Your meat tastes the sweetest of all...
