Good luck with all your trials
praying in the aisles while
i'm under subway cars and 
reaching towards that downward spiral 
well
good things will come to those who
twist their heads around their shoulders
just like they're supposed to 
and stranger things have happened
then a strangers strange attraction
to the way the cigarette smoke curls
up your lips its just this 
backwards fountain
and while the waters cold
it may be all you know
but grow 
or if you don't
they will look through you love
and I will to 
I hope
good things will come to those 
who build their boats to float*
(*or have no boat at all and gasp for air only to choke)
strangers covering the ocean
and repeating after me:
we all drown together
or
we drown separately
(either way the waters gonna swallow us up-
some of us are ready, others are just born with bad luck)
