hitRECord doesn't support account deletion. If you create a hitRECord account, its here for life!
I want to delete a RECord
When you release a RECord on hitRECord, you're giving permission for every hitRECorder to resource and remix it. Therefore, hitRECord's policy is that once a RECord is released it may not be deleted. We understand however that sometimes mistakes are made: videos don't encode properly, RECords get mislabeled, etc. If you've mistakenly released a RECord and would like it deleted, please submit it to our deleting collaboration - a member of the team goes through every so often and cleans it out, but we cannot guarantee anything...
I'm having trouble reactivating my account
Unfortunately we are no longer able to transfer old accounts from v3 to our new home here at v4. Please re-join and start RECording
What file formats are supported by hitRECord?
Video: avi, dv, mov, qt, mpg, mpg2, mpeg2, mpeg4, mp4, 3gp, 3g2, asf, wmv, flv
Audio: mp3, wav, aiff
Image: png, jpg, jpeg, gif
Zip files are also supported for multiple files.
My video has been encoding forever - what gives?
There may be a few reasons for this. Is the video format supported by hitRECord? Please submit your video to the 'Encoding Collaboration' and we will try to fix it. For faster results, you might want to try to re-submit.
