DTobocman has written THIS SCORE for our Fire Triangle animated short that really matches our original request. It's piano only. And he's helpfully included a chart, as well as individual tracks, to enable others to add to it. Check those out HERE.
I think it would be great to hear a bit more instrumentation on it: Clarinet? Flute? Mallets, as David suggests? As mentioned in the earlier request, the score doesn't need to be filled out in a big way…There's a lot of information being imparted, and the style of animation is really simple, so we don't want to overpower it with the music. But maybe some of the melodies could be played on a solo instrument of some sort to give it some dimension? Or, maybe you have ideas for your own parts to lay on top of this? Our only note is that we're not looking for sampled instruments; We MUCH prefer a real one.
Thanks again to DTobocman for coming with another great piece of music! Looking forward to what more colors the community brings to this one : )
As before, please upload your contributions as the following (as you're able to…If you can't do one or more, no prob):
1) A movie file with a mix of the original music plus your additions, sync'd to picture
2) A stereo reference mix of the above….minus dialogue or SFX
3) Individual tracks of your parts, with no effects or EQ.
Note: Zip Files are useful for upload and downloading raw resources in native formats like Photoshop, Illustrator, high-quality Video and Audio projects, and batches of stem files.
However: When downloading, please remember to use caution opening any files downloaded from the internet if you don't recognize the filetype.
Update: the two individual piano tracks have been replaced (I had submitted blanks by accident). And btw, the audio files are all 48k and 24 bit.
Original post: In case anyone wants to add to or replace parts within my all-piano score fro Fire Triangle, I've separated the piano track into "rhythm" and "melodies" to make it easy to mute a piano version of the melody and replace it with a clarinet, violin, mallet instrument, etc. Within the zip file, please find: 4 audio files = click track, piano "all_mix", piano "rhythm" and piano "melodies" 1 MIDI file with the piano performance split as rhythm/melodies 2 PDF charts, one all piano, the other piano + melodies The click is at 115 with a couple of tempo changes to 172.5. The faster tempo is related to the quarter note triplet of the original tempo. Thanks, dtobocman
