I think we should do more of directing each other and talking to each other. We shouldn't be afraid to tell each other what we look for when we're choosing music for a video, doing photo collages, writing or illustrating stories, recording a song, all of that. It is great to see what people come up with when they're given free rein, but I think we could also just say, 'hey guys, this is what I personally look for' to each other.
Writers, tell the illustrators what you look for when you're writing. Hearters and re-recers, share your thoughts about why you heart! Singers, tell drum players what kind of beat you're looking for, any of that! Let's get a dialogue going.
