I took this photo of the WTC when I was 16 years old. It was 1995 and I was on a trip with my high school marching band. Six years later as we all know these buildings along with lots of lives were distroyed by a terrorist attack. This is my visual memorial to the lives lost and to life as we know it drastically changing.

Being as the ten year anniversary of 911 is upon us I am sure it is on a lot of our minds, American or not. I remember where I was that day and how seeing the devastation on the news made me feel. I see how it has effected life for the people of America and the rest the world. It is scary to think of how fragile life is and even scarier when someone threatens to take that away. If you where there or lost someone you loved that day my thoughts are with you now.
This collab is for us RECorders to share our feelings about 911. Where were you during the attack? How did you find out? Did it change the way you think about anything? Any thoughts about it at all? This can be done through text, audio REC, or video. If you are more of a visual person, make something beautiful in memorial to the people we lost that day. Any pictures of the World Trade Center before or after 911, pictures of memorials to 911, and pictures of loved ones lost that day would be great visual contributions.
