Dear hitRECorders,

Hello to my favorite community! I've noticed recently (as I've only joined a couple months ago) that a lot of people have things they want to say but are a bit afraid they might not get heard. Now, I understand there is a hitRECord book/ DVD being made, but as far as I know that is for any and everything. My idea is this- Why not make a book more specific for Joe. I've read a couple letters that are thank yous to him and I've seen a lot of photos or snippets of people hitRECording.

Articulation is not my thing, my apologies. Basically, I think we should collaborate on a book that, if successful could be given to Joe as a thank you for everything he's done. In this book, we can include letters, writings, pictures, videos, songs, audio, anything that shows what this community means to you and or how it has affected you. Perhaps if we get enough things, we can turn it into an actual book for Joe to have- a reminder that there are countless people who really do care about the art and the craft as much as he does. I think it'd be a nice way of thanking him for all his efforts and for opening a door that might not have been opened to us otherwise.

Please give me your feedback and or any ideas on how we can get this started. I'll be contributing my own things briefly, as my mind is a ticking bomb with all the things I want to do. Also, I searched to make sure this wasn't already an idea. I didn't see anything but Joe's anthology idea but please, please, please let me know if this has already been done and I just missed it. I've no intentions to steal from people.
