Yesterday I posted a photo and I wanted to make it a collaboration but I didn't know how. Sorry... oh well, now I know:)

The photo (which I'll add on in the coversation part) was taken from my back deck in Chicago in June after a really terrible thunderstorm. As the storm clouds rolled out, the sky became this glowing orange-yellow color and it was amazing. But what I loved most about it was this idea of "weathering the storm" to wait for the light... often the most terrible circumstances lead to the greatest beauty, but you usually can't notice it when you're going through the "storm." It's was a very hopeful event.

The other direction it could take is the idea of the dichotomy of good and evil and the balance that is needed. For good and beautiful things to exist there needs to be evil. And they often can co-exist together, like a yin-yang thing.

I'm not sure what direction this could take. It could go with either, or both, of those themes. Any ideas? I'm picturing perhaps an animation of the photo (like picturing the clouds moving) and layered with audio of poetry and music with those themes. But I'd like to expand on the theme past the photo itself. Where else does good and evil exist simultaneously? What makes you hopeful? How do you sustain hope that good is going to come out of something bad?
