A common critique of the media (especially newscasts) is that there is no good news. Our screens are filled with tragedy and darkness and nothing hopeful exists in the mind of the media machine.

It's a great critique and a stunning observation, but instead of being cynics let's do something about it.

I think that as a creative community we have the power and the ability to create good news. I'd like to challenge hitrecord to use their creative energy to bring hope to this sometimes colorless world. What can we do to bring colour to a world in despair?

It would be super-sweet if we created something that became 'good news' in the media.
