Let's make a beat banging on our good old desks.
Obviously we've done plenty of collaborations that are more intricate and more elaborate than this one. But I thought this would be a decent place to start off our rehearsal process for Sundance. It's fun. It doesn't require any musical instruments. And the end result is something that could be used any number of ways.
The BPM (beats per minute) is 120. So if you want to play along to a metronome, that's the tempo. That number might come in even more handy when we later start layering other music around our drum circle.
Here's what to do. You'll need headphones and some sort of RECording device, probably a video camera, or any sort of audio recorder. Set up your RECording device so you like the way it looks and sounds. Plug your headphones into your computer. Get ready to put on one of my desk drum circle videos on the computer, but don't hit play yet. Hit RECord on your audio or video RECorder. Then hit play on your computer. While listening to my drumming, drum along.
Then Release the RECord and Contribute it here as a Resource.
If you feel like flexing your remix muscles, download any or all of the contributed resources and mix them into a piece of music.
