Interview people who have been in long-term close relationships (romantic or best friends or siblings or whatever), and interview them separately.

The thought behind it: I love the look people get on their faces, the sound of their voices, when they're talking about someone they really, really love. I think doing these interviews separately could provide a really amazing and intimate look at how close relationships start, evolve, survive, and prosper. I would love to get footage of people all over the world, in all different types and lengths of relationships.

The ideal result would be something short(ish) and sweet, using some of the amazing music and talented people here at hitRECord.

General "Instructions": Again, interview people who have been in long-term close relationships (romantic or best friends or siblings or whatever), and interview them SEPARATELY. This is key.
Ask them first something along the lines of, "Tell me about (other person). Pretend I'm your far-away parent/grandparent/dear friend who already knows where (other person) works, where they're from, what they do. Describe what they're like, explain why this person is in your life." (You see what I'm getting at here, reshape it to fit what makes sense to you!)

If they get lost or stuck, you can move onto questions, like:
- How does he/she deal with stressful situations?
- What does he/she consider her greatest strength?
- What do you think his/her greatest strength is?
- Describe a favorite memory with them.
- Why is that a favorite memory?
- Tell me about a stupid fight you had and how it was resolved.

Reassure them that it's fine to take a long time to respond - it gives us more footage to work with! If they stumble the first time through, move on to other topics, and then come back to it again once they're more comfortable.

I'm picturing video interviews, and it would be really great to eventually edit them together and use split-screen to show one thinking about/listening to the question while the other answers. If you can only do audio, that could work too if we could add in pictures.

One note, if you share the questions ahead of time, make sure they don't try and match up their answers with their "other half." We want personal thoughts without outside pressures.
