Are you a Romantic? I am. Some might say I'm a hopeless romantic, but why is it hopeless? I want to make a documentary of sorts, I want to know what makes some of us romantics while others are realists. I have many questions I want answered with this project, but mostly I want to know why you think you are a romantic. Do you think the media influenced you with romantic movies and songs, was it all those Hallmark and jewelry commercials? Do you think it's genetic? What would psychiatrists have to say? Or neurologists, are our brains different somehow? What about all those mushy poems by Shelley and his cohorts, are they to blame? I have a feeling there are a lot of romantics here, and hey, if there's any realists I'd love you're take on romanticism too! I haven't started with my own video because this collaboration, this documentary, is to help me figure it out. I can't answer my own questions and I need your help.
