An idea that keeps growing in my mind... a "magic van" in the grand tradition of, but not limited to, Ken Kesey's Further, The Who's Magic Bus, The Yellow Submarine, The Magic Schoolbus, the Scooby Doo Van, and Art Cars everywhere.

I see it 2 ways:

1. As a real vehicle (or fleet of vehicles) that travel to promote the arts and pool creative talent together, growing it's own legend along the way

2.As the ultimate fantasy time/space/mind traveler, capable of expanding into a movie theater or a maze of art galleries, projecting images into the sky, hovering over an enthralled crowd playing "Everything is on Fire All the Time", or shrinking down into a child's collection of toys to light a spark within a future HitRECorder.

In either case I imagine it to have constantly evolving and morphing graphics on the outside. The "real" version would simply change periodically, but the "fantasy" I imagine having a full-wrap animation/motion/slideshow "skin" (I tried to hint at this idea with my "video version" RECord, with rather clunky results). I hope some skilled animator can figure this one out.

Give you any ideas?  I hope so, I'm not trying to present this as fully-formed. I enjoy using the treasure chest of resources here to make these images, but I'd also like others to feel free to blow-up, pick apart or expand on the idea as their impulses suggest. I'd really like to hear any story ideas that come to mind. Hop on the CollaBUS!
