Welcome one and all! This is the place where all those scripts that were submitted for the Fall Formal go to be made into something new. For those who need the backstory, RegularJOE had all of us interested RECreators put together script submissions for a skit to be performed at an event called the Fall Formal. Alas, only one could be selected. It was AND it was awesome!

But we had so many other scripts! We decided that being all shiny and new they needed to be used in a creative way. And this is where that is being done! Er, where it's being centralized anyway.

Basically, we are going to take all the scripts and try to sort them together into vignettes that can then be combined into a larger filmed work. So, you have it all going on here from writers proposing edits to the scripts or trying to mesh them all together, to the cinematically inclined members of our guild performing and filming or editing material, to people offering advice on sound effects or good background music to integrate into the filmed portions to help set the mood. We kind of got a little bit of everything going here (at least, I foresee us having a little bit of everything going here) so feel free to take a look at anything people have posted. For the sake of ease, since there are several methods being looked at for using the skits from the Fall Formal, we are tentatively going to adopt a sort of "reservation" system. Basically, if you want to use a skit's script for a medium, please comment on the Featured Record letting me know the name of the skit and the medium. I'll add them to the associated listing here on the collab. This doesn't preclude your using a skit that is in process for a different medium. Rather it is just a way for all of us to keep track of what works are currently being utilized and which still need someone to explore their potential. Now, currently the Featured RECord on this collab is the original RECord where the idea to recycle the skits was suggested. It is my suggestion that you use this RECord as a bulletin board to share your thoughts and suggestions on directions. Have something you want to discuss? Add your remark on the RECord.
