My name is Iris and I want to suggest a collaboration.
One of my interests is exploring the connection between art (literature, painting etc.) and madness, and to explore the architecture and "vibe" of abandoned mental institution and state hospitals.
I would like to get your input on madness: how would you describe it? what do you associate with that the word "madness"? How do you connect art to madness?
Another prospective is the asylums: I find it interesting that the word itself mean "a shelter " as well as "psychiatric hospital". Did you know that in the past people believed that the architecture of the asylum has a big part in curing the madness from the patient? Here we can see again the contacts between madness and art...
