THE BUTTON COLLECTOR

I recently rediscovered some of my old vintage button collection. Looking at some particularly interesting ones, I started wondering about each of their histories. Where did this button come from? Who did it belong to?

So, I had this sudden and random idea for a collaboration.

It’s a bit weird really, but it has a definite quirk factor which I love!

It is a gathering of stories – possibly a book - of the owners of all kinds of weird and wonderful buttons. Some very old, perhaps that buttons experience of the first World War, and some could be born in the 80’s, telling tales of crazy disco nights…

To keep it ‘streamlined’, each should be told from the viewpoint of the button, maybe speaking whistfully of its past owner… or maybe the button feels bitter?

Each story can have a picture of the story-teller (the button in question). They have so much character I’m sure it won’t be hard to tie it all together!
