I’m starting this collaboration to get some help from my fellow hitRECorders to remix this video I made called The Time Traveler.

Last year I wrote this tiny story The Time Traveler and I found so many great resources that corresponded with the theme I decided to make a short video for it.  Now that a year has passed I decided this little puppy could use some remixing.  Here are a few things I think this video needs.

Editing:  I love the footage I used but I think we can find more footage that would relate to the theme.  Maybe footage that’s slow motion or switching from forwards to backwards or vice versa.  From the 0:57 mark and onwards the footage is way too pixilated and needs to be replaced with something new.  Perhaps footage of casting shadows and at the very end footage panning out to give the sense of leaving everything behind.  (On a side note I think it would be fun for a little shadow creature to pop out for a second or two as a little easter egg or something. )

Voiceover:   I would like to hear someone take a stab at reading this tiny story.   The performance should showcase the characters loneliness but also the acceptance of their fate on the last line.  Please keep the record dry with no effects so editors have more flexibility to make changes. 

Some of the resource that I highly recommend to keep in the video is the footage from SFBaksta and the music from Venns.  These are all simply suggestions that I think would improve the video.  If you have any other ideas make an album of records that you think might work or even revise the story.   Please feel free to do whatever you want with this.
