as soon as i saw/heard this story, i knew i had to write music to go with it. i got stuck for awhile (i had only the first 30 seconds or so written for about a month) but i finally got my creative juices flowing!

fun fact: the melody of the king's midnight song is actually "Dies Irae," a Gregorian chant that's often used in Romantic music to symbolize death. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dlr90NLDp-0 now you can impress your friends with your awesome music knowledge.

I wish someone would make visuals to go with this!

This was a quick recording I did of me reading my short story "The Dream Plucker". It's mainly just to give people an idea of the rhythm and tone that I had in mind for it. I'd love to hear someone with a really deep, croaky or soulful voice reading it.

I WISH this could be turned into an quirky animation or illustrated story.

I recorded this last year on valentine day for my boy. As i was completely skinned and i couldn't buy him any present, i sat with Amelie, set up mic, portable recorder and run 4 takes . I was jamming some  guitar chords and sang poem by Edward Estlin Cummings " I carry your heart with me" with Sm58 in da house.I picked this particular recording as  it's  having only one word from my kid at the end uffff.

I WISH... a beautiful big red button REC or JOIN, with a nice heart on the chest of this lovely baby ♥

Maybe this black & white version is better for coloring... or for any other remix you would like to make with it :)
