The new year is coming soon...so it's time to buy a new calendar. I always make my family a photo calendar for Christmas. Although a regular calendar might be kinda cheesy...I think a hitRECord calendar would be real cool and artistic. Everyone who likes this idea can contribute their favorite RECords or make a new RECord ...this can be a picture, drawing, painting,..., a poem, a story, song lyrics,...

First of all thanks for all the contributions to the calendar collab so far!
A few people made some samples of how the calendar should look like. (Freedomrollers, Vigitter, Atlas, Phantomisa) Although I like all of the samples... Atlas' design got the most RECs and I think it goes well with the design of the website. That's why I would like to suggest using her template for all the further contributions.
@Freedomrollers: I really appreciate your effort...thanks for the time you already put into this collab. Thanks to you things got going. I hope you will keep working with us on this collab.
I used Atlas' design to make templates for all the months. I made some minor alterations...I changed the HITRECORD logo into the one with the white letters and I added the dates for the previous and next month in a lighter color. So I already added all the months and dates...the rest is up to you...So pick your favorite month and add the following:
* RECord(s): personally I like the combo of an image and a poem, quote, tiny story,...just the way Atlas did in her design. Maybe you can add several records with the same theme or from the same collab (Dolphin170's idea)
*The name of the hitrecorders who made the records.
*Holidays: major holidays can be added, also silly/weird ones. Because not everyone on this website is American...maybe make it a little international?
*National/International month of...(see example Atlas January)
Oh yeah here are the fonts and colors to use:
*Month Text: 24pt Arial #00022c
*Year Text: 24pt Arial #ff0000
*Left Footer Text ("National ___ Month," etc.): 11pt Arial #777777
*Right Footer Text (Resources and credit): 12pt Arial #eeeeee
*Date Numbers: 11pt Arial #00002c
*Holiday Titles: 11pt Arial #ff0000
These are just suggestions...any comments, input,...are more than welcome...this is a collaboration after all...
