To dream or not to dream

There is not much to say about my job. I'm a photographer and most of the time it consists in making packshot pictures for a website (not very interesting...)

I'm glad I can pay the bills with this job, I've done much more that were pretty hard ones. But in the same time it keeps me away from doing the photography I love.

I've been called artist sometimes...

A frightening title that I don't deserve, & I don't feel comfortable with.

I'm not an artist, just somebody that loves to experiment different things.

I draw since childhood, I create the clothes I wear & I make photography with old cameras.

The thing is, I don't want to earn my life doing illustrations, clothes... Those are my passions and I'm afraid that doing it as a job would spoil everything.

Money & I have a bad relationship... I hate it & it hates me back.

Well, I have to be realistic though, I need it...

In the end, no big dreams.

I just want to keep on doing the thing I love, creating new ones, discovering new ones, following my instinct.

I'll be grateful if life lets me do this, then I'll be a good girl & play by its rules.

I love this tiny story from rowrowrow, I wanted to see how it would look like in my world...

Few weeks ago there was a beautiful moon, it was like she was rocked & protected by arms-like clouds... I've made more pictures & I'll try to make a little animation with the lot.

I love the vintage style of pprescott, I wanted to do a mugshot like that too, in an old fashioned way & I added a western style.

This idea has been in my head for days,

It's something I wish I will see on hitRECord & maybe (hopefully) at a Fall Formal (no this year it's probably too late)

A kind of rockabilly/swing/close harmony/babershop band called The Hitrecordettes (of course) !

The thing is I'm not a musicien, not a singer & my skills to write are close to zero...

Fortunately there are a lot of great persons here that can do that :)

First example : Alpal did a fantastique wah wah remix of the Wanderer, that's how I got the idea & also thanks to my recent discovering of the Andrews Sisters (never to late to « newly » listen to old music)

I'll be delightfully happy if hitRECorders were interested in this, I mean really happy like a 4 years old girl on christmas day <3

Many people can be involved, it needs a song, someone(s) to write it, 3 or more singers & every musicians who want to play instruments used in this music !

If we want to play all the way, we can create fake vinyl album cover, retro commercials, anything about The Hitrecordettes !!! Sorry... Red & blue fireworks just exploded in my head... I got carried away...

I don't know if this idea is worth turning it into a Collab, you'll tell me guys :)

Oh and I can make the dresses <3 I cannot sing, but let me do the sewing ;) Damn got carried away, again...
