I went a bit overboard with the number of records in this re-rec album so I leave only a few words…I promise.

How to be Happy by dingoman9126
The way I see it we often simply refuse to put the effort into the work to make ourselves happy.
bEarth by Zhakey-Bear
This is probably the strangest video I’ve ever seen on hR…or I just haven’t seen enough?
Words Hurt by Erfo
With added sound effects to veronicalee’s thoughtful video.

“Herringbone Hat” (Live!) by MattConley
Ryan Johnson’s “The Man In the Herringbone Hat” poem reading by Phillip Baker Hall and Channing Tatum – a “live stage” edit by Matt. It is extremely entertaining and you’ll feel you are at an actual event.
The Minister’s Daughter by Babbish
I remember I downloaded this song straight away, I love it so much.
Argue by DoctorWorth
I’m surprised that not many people discovered this yet, please listen!
Draw Me a Picture (Revised) by Madshell, vocals by Lama
One of my favourite songs here even if it’s not recent. Madshell actually did 3 different remixes of Lama’s original but this one is the most upbeat.
Fluent in Foolish by emmacooperpeterson
Emma’s got a beautiful voice and she even asks for music remixes so…
Crazy!!! by fleurdelys
Great piano work to use for songs.

Raven on a string by dcsweet
This is so funny yet I adore its simplicity.
Broken Glass by Miss Victoria
Sad…but most likely true for everyone…sadly.
Post-it Note Prose – Stone Heart by F.M.Gore-Kelly
A great way to draw attention to a story: message on post-it notes.
Images
Brutal Waltz: The Smoke by sBo
Flawless. I know there are people out there who are against Photoshop but when the result is a picture this stunning, you have to obey.
Dreamcatcher by sBo
My 2nd choice from sBo this week: a haunting image of dreamcatcher trees.
Flower by lizziefresh
OK I’m still not sure how this flower’s actually done but it’s fabulous anyway.
Reflections by crayola_sky
Strange when we come across with something interesting and effortless like this…
Vancouver Waterfall by jesferlaffs
Blue beauty on its own or it could be gorgeous for image remixes as well.
Behind the Rain by Rebecca26
It’s not clear whether this is a waterfall or rain being photographed from below…but it’d be wonderful for further image remixing too.

No words needed, going through Bree’s work is pure pleasure.
I don' have a great recorder but i wanted to release something. I'm an autodidact so it's not perfect.
Lyrics:
The minister's daughter drinks holy water,
to keep the devil from her soul.
The minister's daughter hears of
jailhouse slaughters and sings gospel
to rock n roll, now.
An eye for an eye and a tooth
for the truth, she's my next
door neighbor.
God is gonna save her from her
self indulgent behavior, but
you know he does no favors, now.
The first will be first and the last will
be last,
I'm good friends with her cuz I don't
wanna be cursed.
The word of christ is not to say in vein,
but she's a straight shooter in a winding lane.
Please little miss won't you keep him away
from the bees, cuz up in trees is where birds
and worms get along, now.
I was in love with a down mister singing
holy scriptures he was ticking like an atom bomb, now.
Now don't it feel to be, Now don't it feel to be,
Now don't it feel so good to be so wrong.
Repeat.
Just another doodle for Haus_of_Glitch's Brutal Waltz. I kind of like the idea of the Smoke as this sinuous movement insinuating itself into the industrial rhythms of the music. There's something creepy about that contrast. I see each pair of Proms wreathed with a Smoke so that what starts at first as a duet actually becomes a trio. In the end, only the Smoke are left.
Photograph + the ever useful PS smudge tool
I've been working on a live "stage reading" version of rcjohnso's "The Man In the Herringbone Hat" featuring the voices of Philip Baker Hall and Channing Tatum for quite some time now.
This latest version (the 4th incarnation on my end) has more auditorium ambience (theatregoers entering and getting situated, the orchestra tuning their instruments, etc.) than previous ones. Additionally, there are now sound effects added to the production.

What would a robot dream of? What would the fog dream of? Two very interesting questions asked by Johnnyclyde. I had been working on this video for about a month when I stumbled upon this beautiful piece of music the other night. Whilst investigating what would happen when I played it over the video, I was absolutely amazed at how synchronized it already appeared to be without any editing. I knew immediately I had to use it. So thankyou Johnnyclyde for this awesome lil' tune, it's incredible. I hope you like the video! :) Jake
Ps - Sorry it's a little pixilated if viewing in large screen, I had to convert the original file from 2.70 gigs to dv format to upload it. If anyone wanted a sharper image for download, I would happy to send as zip file :)
A short film I made based off an article I found in Readers Digest. Shot on a Canon HV30 and cut together in Final Cut, music recorded in Logic.
this is the first song i wrote and recorded, when i was 16. i think the final recording came out way too crisp and generic for my taste. if anyone has ideas to make this more interesting/give it a bit more of an indie-ish raw vibe, please have at it. (i really hope i'm making some sense here...)
