People are put into the ground when they die.

Seeds are put into the ground to be born again.

I had this idea that when the heart stops beating, it is planted into the ground like a seed to bring forth more life even after death. Let's keep our loved ones alive, again by heart -- RECord, RECord, RECord. <3

Saw this tiny story by rayperez in RegularJOE's reRECs and thought I'd try and give my version of it. I decided to use binary but I just wish I knew how to write in it. Then I would of written hitRECord or something over and over on the webbing. Challenge for someone else maybe?

My fly looks resistant to change.

I was browsing through images of astro/space kinda stuff and found two awesome illustrations, so I decided to play around with them. I inverted Wirrow’s image and made their helmet’s into hearts…and wrote a tiny story inspired by Paperlilies image. Here’s the result.

When I illustrate a tiny story, I try to make the image tell a slightly different story than the text, or say something that the text itself doesn't. Or, to have a surprising take on the image itself, something that wouldn't have immediately come to mind.

I just also realized that cacheth's illustration was part of what helped me with this idea! Not consciously, but certainly why I had box imaginings on the brain.
