I first joined hitRECord about, say, 7 hours ago and pretty much the first thing I heard was this drums and bells loop by gweninterrupted. I just had to do something with it!

So, 7 hours later, here's my first proper RECord (is that right?), a summery love song I suppose. Hope you'll enjoy it and I just want to say I already love it here, so see you around!

This is a song I wrote as an intro for a short film a friend of mine is doing.  I hope you all like it, it was a lot of fun to make

I absolutely adore this story and literally cant wait to see it come to life. There are soo soo many beautiful drawings and so few animations or videos for the project. I guess I kinda made this in hopes to inspire others to start working on the creation myth even more...there are so many beautiful images to work with, I mean it’s astounding really.  Some moving images I couldn't use because I don’t have the proper converter for it, which sucks really cause I missed out on using some really great things. Also I just cut the beginning and a little bit of the end because I couldn’t really figure out what to use in the middle, haha!! 

I’m pretty sure this isn’t the direction that the film is supposed to take, again I just wanted to make something to help inspire others to work on this even more, guess I’m being selfish cause I wanna see this thing complete already, I can’t tell Terrence Malick to hurry the hell up and finish his films, but I can certainly try pushing you guys :o)

lilacamy11 made a great story board of the visuals we already have that we can work with and crackedhands created this amazing track to go with regularjoe’s VO...those are worth looking at for inspiration. Oh and I love the direction cacheth is going with her animation...lovely! Also, I adore the drawings by Lea Daniel, remarkable records that can be remixed into animations!

Wrote this song May 25, 2011. I was inspired by Prison on Route 41 by Iron and Wine though it doesn't sound anything like it or have any of the same meaning for some reason just inspired me to write this. Here are the lyrics.

Hi! Let me start off by saying how much I adore these owlets. I'm no animator, but I thought I'd try my hand at making a very basic little animation to go along with Wirrow's text and Pamagotchi's audio. I added a little twist ending.

My brother helped me put it together. Again, not much of an animator, but I thought the idea was kinda fun, so if you think you could do a better job (and you most certainly can) I'd love to see some other people's take on it. Thanks and enjoy :O)

P.S. Is it possible to create a system of notification about new answers to my remarks? It`s difficult to remember all the pictures/songs/videos – in case the author has written something for me. Sometimes I have to discuss ideas with other hitRECorders, but they don`t check out my comments and questions - they just don`t know if I`ve written a new post.

RE: SNOW PROPOSAL:

Saintmaker's image (http://www.hitrecord.org/records/1096162) made me think of dandilions, so I once again undearthed this remix. I know that eaneikciv's lyrics say "golden sea" instead of, like, icy sea or silver sea, but the flurry of white stuff still is similar to snow, is it not? And if we roll with this idea in any way, we can always make another version that replaces the "golden" with something more snowy.

Anyways, let me know what you think!

I love tcs (can I call you that?) and cjbergin's guitar additions and couldn't resist playing around with them. I put them together with some strings, knowing the tracks didn't exactly match. Oh but behold, pleasant surprise! The sounds mesh together quite smashingly, I think, and produces a sci-fi-eerie apocalyptic-sounding piece. 

And that got me thinking. Doesn't this apocalyptic theme give the song new meaning? I'm envisioning flying dandilion fire-bullets and laying down of the head...in that eternal type of rest. Waddayathink??

I hope I'll not be a lazy bum and find some time to make a video out of this (love the happy/nonapocalyptic windy videos so far, too!).
