New entry into the "Collab Promo Collaboration" (http://hitrecord.org/records/443201) - this time for Marke's "Pocket Autopsy" project.

The point of this teaser trailer format is to introduce the basic scope and jist of a collaboration, highlight some of the contributions and directorial notes on it, and encourage the community to collaborate.

I've loved this song ever since it was released, and I listen to it and sing along with it every day. So tonight I decided, what better way to show tia and megan how much you love their work than to record yourself singing along with it. And voila!

The second I heard this song I was like "oh damn, I know exactly what harmonies this needs". It's pretty rare for me to be able to think in terms of backing vocals, so I decided to go ahead and do them, even though no one seems to like my audio. You know what, I have fun singing. Which is what counts.

As far as I'm concerned, the only thing this song really needs to finish it off is some clappy/snappy percussion, but when I tried to record that on my mic, it sounded weird. So someone with the capacity to make a clap sound like a clap should get on that.

I put this on postcard collab, I think it it will be cool the person who use the blank part to write down or draw or anything thereas a  part of this drawing :) and the characther is wearing HT t-shirt is pretty summery :)

Two hours after posting the Work In Progress, I think this is my best shot at it. I keep stopping submission and editing it some more. MUST STOP! LOL

I don't want to render the clouds anymore, because I feel like the details will overclutter the picture, if it hasn't already. Feel like helping me touch it up? Go for it! Seriously appreciating the feedback. :) The download size is 1666x1318 pixels.

I've been experimenting new patterns recently & made this drawing to test them. I thought the different patterns might be useful, for REmix purpose.

mirtle ran away with the Circus today..

i've done like 10 or more Circus ink drawings today, i can't stop!!

Although i have never been to a Circus because they used to freak me out, in recent years they seem to fascinate me more and more..especially the old vintage kind. So, inspired by Bloemday and her wonderful Circus Spirit and especially thrilled with Metaphorest who wrote the beautiful

Sid, the Kid who Ran Away from the Circus.

this first one is inspired by Sid :)

i will gradually add them so as not to bombard you all but just so you know, this is the first of many Circus characters and none of them are coloured in so go for it xxx

Loved the illustration, so this is my attempt at turning it into a tiny story.

This is what I looked like after watching marley and me...

I LOVELOVELOVE fractaldust's wallpaper and I decided it would be a good Re-REC reminder. I know it's not like what we usually use, but I HAD to do it.

Sometimes ideas fall from space and smack you right in the head. Was casually listening to Malicore's awesome remix of the DNA chords, and then I figured that this might go actually quite well with the Forever Endeavor ditty, just in a slightly different key. And the feel and message of the two records seemed to compliment each other so well!

Do people fancy singing along/adding harmonies/fillers to this?!

I really apologise for my voice at the moment, I am at THAT stage of a cold.

One illustration I wanted to do for a tiny story down, about eight billion to go!

This is another one I wished I could do in color, but I'm really trying to stick to black and white so I don't get my heart broken. If this book gets published in color, though, first I will do an unladylike and awkward dance of glee, and then I'm coloring this in, stat.

Tiny Story illustraion du jour. I officially decided fuck it, I really want color. I'm gonna put stuff in color.

Isn't the little peeve so cute? He went through a lot of incarnations, but this one is my favorite. I'd like one of my very own, but I doubt he'd be very well behaved.

My attempt to illustrate Metaphorest's tiny story "Sam the Homeless Snail". For some strange reason, when I first read the story, the first thing that came to my mind was the music "Meditation de Thais", which I imagined Sam would be playing... :S

I only just came across Metaphorest's awesome song & the lyrical genius of the panda verse inspired me to make this poor little fellow. (I named him Reggie.)

I was psyched to get a MattConley photo as my random record because a) his images are always so interesting/intriguing/beautiful and b) I'm a Boston girl (South Shore, actually - raised in Cohasset). I love the message in the original (resourced below) but I also think that the opposite is sometimes true.

I just saw Rochelle Boucher's Tiny Story and immediately decided to write another Tiny Tune with it. My daughter demanded to sit in my lap and sing along, and I thought it was just too adorable not to share. I'll be recording a regular version later today once my kids are asleep, and I'd love to see maybe a Tiny Film or Tiny Animation come from this!

Thanks to MattConley’s recent RE-RECommendation collab.  A number of contributions shined a light on this series of recorders that I found amazing based around the “Atom Song”.  I liked them so much I wanted to combine them and make a new mix.  Enjoy!

So I'm already working on another version of this because this one is super plain and simple...but I thought thewhitelady's story was super cute and wanted to play around with the whole stars chasing about thing and voilà! The result :]

I've always liked this illustration by Moss Garden...I think it goes well with scarlet's tiny story:Secret Love(rs)...because to me...they look like they're secretly seeing each other...and they can get caught any moment...
