My visual interpretation of the RegularJOE's tiny story. The first thing that came to my mind was mismatched expectations in a love relationship.

aszarkowski did this VO for the animated video peripheral vision that I really liked, so I wanted to fix the levels and added some reverb to give it that outerspace sound.  I'm really not a video person so if some could add this to the video I resourced it would be greatly appreciated.  I would also recommend adding a Hitrecord logo at the end of the video so the audio can play out all the way.

EDIT: Yeah it's a bit obscure... but I remember this time when I saw a black spider on the wall. I was really scared and I wondered if I should kill it. If it wasn't poisonous, then I wouldn't care I'd just stick it outside. But what if it was....and to be on the safe side I squished it. Is that being paranoid? To be better safe than sorry?

In the drawing, a human is killing a spider with spray just as the spider is about to attack. So the human is paranoid and thinks the spider is going to kill them, the spider is paranoid and thinks the human is going to kill them...and they have every right to be paranoid... yeah........so either the human or the spider is saying 'I fear I might be paranoid'...? Eh

what i'm trying to convey is the aspect of night and day so ideally when you flip the composition 180, it would read as night time, and the sun is content and excited, aka happy face (:

i found this today down in my basement. i'm pretty sure my mom painted it. I will post more of what i found later :)

I figured with so much focus on the jars of this tiny story, I'd give the "flickering star" collecting a bit of the spotlight :] Also made this in a black and white version...

I just saw Rochelle Boucher's Tiny Story and immediately decided to write another Tiny Tune with it. My daughter demanded to sit in my lap and sing along, and I thought it was just too adorable not to share. I'll be recording a regular version later today once my kids are asleep, and I'd love to see maybe a Tiny Film or Tiny Animation come from this!

Love Story, a project I did a while back using Flash. A lot of fun making this even though the process seemed hellish at times.

as soon as i posted Beat 714 i began work on finding a lyrical/melodic idea that could work for it. i imagined something like a hip-hop/soul flow for it.

I searched through KamPaign's HitRECord Hip-Hop collection and found RayPerez's "Let's Finish This" RECord and put them together.
I really liked the lyric of there being "no borders between HitRECorders" so I made that the refrain.
I contacted and collaborated in correspondence with mr ray perez on creating new lyrics with this theme in mind.
in the meantime, I really liked what AboutGeorgia and Jay-9 contributed to the beat, and i added them into the mix.
somewhere along the line, i got inspired to write a rap verse and even took the mic for it on the RECording
(my first ever "rap" please don't judge me i'm just trying to laugh while my ass gets down)

now this ain't no final version. if you feel like adding some flow or singing to this, do it! let's get some more voices on this.

I've been wanting to play in photoshop for such a long time.. i think i've gotten a bit rusty but i'm pretty proud of this considering. lol

Circus Act

Yet another illustration for this fantastic tiny story! I was rereading this tiny story the other night while listening to the soundtrack of the Japanese anime "The Garden of Sinners (part 1)" and that's when the idea for this piece came to me (those who have seen the film would probably understand the reason behind this). Oh and I FAIL at perspectives, which I blame entirely on my lack of practice in observational drawings.

I kind of thought this would be nice to have as an extra in the DVD after this is released to thousands of theaters throughout the world. Perhaps parts of this can be cut and added into future remixes as well?

The outsiders sat beside

not really an illustration, but i'm having fun. i actually think this tiny story could do well if the shadow beings were inanimate objects. two things, that by day, are apart, but as the sun goes down and the shadows appear, they come closer together. you know what i mean?
