My visual interpretation of the RegularJOE's tiny story. The first thing that came to my mind was mismatched expectations in a love relationship.
aszarkowski did this VO for the animated video peripheral vision that I really liked, so I wanted to fix the levels and added some reverb to give it that outerspace sound. I'm really not a video person so if some could add this to the video I resourced it would be greatly appreciated. I would also recommend adding a Hitrecord logo at the end of the video so the audio can play out all the way.
added in an intro & bumper to malicore's REmix...
another interpretation of the story ..haha :)..yeah..he's doing another chick behind her back. This one is for gleefulmalice..
Bicycle rules! :)
a reading of my sonnet (thanks to HelloLindsayyyyyy for the suggestion of doing a reading), written sometime in 2004 and RECorded here 1/10/11
gwen's loop of lala's and breathing is the most amazing record ive heard on this website. i'll definitely be making more things out of this.
the title is my nod to the wonderful sparklehorse. "it's a sad and beautiful life" r.i.p
we can be star-ways upside down-ways any way you like
we see moons n suns where others see the city lights
i know you like the fear, ive seen your eyes light up
when theres a human sacrifice
i know you like to panic and ring the alarms
but we are superloving creatures and we mean you no harm
you're never alone you know
it's a wonderful life
"I fear I might be paranoid" - spider vs human
EDIT: Yeah it's a bit obscure... but I remember this time when I saw a black spider on the wall. I was really scared and I wondered if I should kill it. If it wasn't poisonous, then I wouldn't care I'd just stick it outside. But what if it was....and to be on the safe side I squished it. Is that being paranoid? To be better safe than sorry?
In the drawing, a human is killing a spider with spray just as the spider is about to attack. So the human is paranoid and thinks the spider is going to kill them, the spider is paranoid and thinks the human is going to kill them...and they have every right to be paranoid... yeah........so either the human or the spider is saying 'I fear I might be paranoid'...? Eh
In which I voice the thoughts of every hitrecorder on the site.
An illustration for Ericar's Tiny Story "Zombie Gentlemen."
Zombie Gentlemen by Ericar
Zombies are such gentlemen. They love you for your brain.
my visual interpretation of karizzMarie's tiny story.
what i'm trying to convey is the aspect of night and day so ideally when you flip the composition 180, it would read as night time, and the sun is content and excited, aka happy face (:
thought this would make a cute wallpaper. resolution after downloading is 1280 x 800 to fit standard laptop screens. hope it brightens your desktop and day <3!
I figured with so much focus on the jars of this tiny story, I'd give the "flickering star" collecting a bit of the spotlight :] Also made this in a black and white version...
Guilt. Let’s talk about it. Whereas grief can be a warm, feathery comforter filled with down of sorrow, a perverse solace; guilt is a cold, stainless steel autopsy table. And each day, at so...
I just saw Rochelle Boucher's Tiny Story and immediately decided to write another Tiny Tune with it. My daughter demanded to sit in my lap and sing along, and I thought it was just too adorable not to share. I'll be recording a regular version later today once my kids are asleep, and I'd love to see maybe a Tiny Film or Tiny Animation come from this!
The physician’s wife was told that an apple a day kept the doctor away.
Each evening she would eat two apples (just to be safe).
But much to her dismay, her husband still kept coming home.
This is REmix RECord using bryn_haz's story and eNgma's drawing. I tweaked the strawberry to become an apple. I think this image is good enough to capture reader's attention without giving too much away.
Love Story, a project I did a while back using Flash. A lot of fun making this even though the process seemed hellish at times.
I do not own the Nujabes track sampled herein.

told a story of their romance,
Prince Charming steered his white horse towards the coffee shop, hoping just once he could meet a girl the normal way.
Fear of inadequacy permeates his thoughts only to be quickly dismissed.

I'm not doing this by force really....
as soon as i posted Beat 714 i began work on finding a lyrical/melodic idea that could work for it. i imagined something like a hip-hop/soul flow for it.
I searched through KamPaign's HitRECord Hip-Hop collection and found RayPerez's "Let's Finish This" RECord and put them together.
I really liked the lyric of there being "no borders between HitRECorders" so I made that the refrain.
I contacted and collaborated in correspondence with mr ray perez on creating new lyrics with this theme in mind.
in the meantime, I really liked what AboutGeorgia and Jay-9 contributed to the beat, and i added them into the mix.
somewhere along the line, i got inspired to write a rap verse and even took the mic for it on the RECording
(my first ever "rap" please don't judge me i'm just trying to laugh while my ass gets down)
now this ain't no final version. if you feel like adding some flow or singing to this, do it! let's get some more voices on this.
a very very very big thanks to mr. ray perez for the awesome collaboration, and to aboutgeorgia and jay-9 for singing along :) <3
There ain't no borders between HitRECorders.
*This is a STEREO RECording*
I wanted to add my two cents into this Collaboration and offer some of my own insight to the art of editing. Before I get to a few bullet points I wanted to mention some personal thoughts on the cr...
A mix of hitrecord goodness that's in our very DNA. Adding resources later (at work)
I've been wanting to play in photoshop for such a long time.. i think i've gotten a bit rusty but i'm pretty proud of this considering. lol
Yet another illustration for this fantastic tiny story! I was rereading this tiny story the other night while listening to the soundtrack of the Japanese anime "The Garden of Sinners (part 1)" and that's when the idea for this piece came to me (those who have seen the film would probably understand the reason behind this). Oh and I FAIL at perspectives, which I blame entirely on my lack of practice in observational drawings.
I kind of thought this would be nice to have as an extra in the DVD after this is released to thousands of theaters throughout the world. Perhaps parts of this can be cut and added into future remixes as well?
The outsiders sat beside
The long low-tide, as it dried
One sighed and decided,
"We'd be better off inside."
(Text by Michal, with slight alterations)
I'm not very happy with this illustration, but I thought I'd put it up just in case it gives other people ideas!
Two candles were making a fire. They'd been planning this moment for days. But soon as they came as close to a kiss. A breeze blew them away.
Here is a little bumper for the weekly RE-RECommendation collaboration featuring the main character from "They Can't Turn the Lights Off" playing a word game on the computer.
A reading of Metaphorest's beautiful poem, by our very own, Tommy Go-Go.
In response to The Viddler's sudden appearance in our lovely community.
Extra special thanks to Robo_J for recording such an amazing voice over! Truly awesome!

Another Tiny Tune inspired by a Tiny Story! Enjoy :) And don't forget to check out the rest of the Tiny Tunes Collaboration!
Fate and Coincidence spotted each other in a bar.
"Well, look who I ran into," smirked Coincidence.
"Please," scoffed Fate. "This was meant to be."
"I fear I might be paranoid." by MaxBrixton
Had some free time today.
all "paranaoid stuff" I could recall from movies, including a bottle on the door handle :)
The stars came down from high above.
The seahorse came from far below.
If both are true, then truth be told, there’s nowhere you and I can’t go.
This illustration is about the joy of sharing two lives, and the delightful flavor that independence and individuality can bring to love.
Illustration for RegularJoe's tiny story.
RE-RECS! i made it under 5 min tonight!! :D again, apologies if there are mispronunciations :O/ & oh. i love alot :)) X.O. check it out. p.s. & ye, i got a ukulele & i plan to play/sing children's lullabies. take that eddie vedder :o)
not really an illustration, but i'm having fun. i actually think this tiny story could do well if the shadow beings were inanimate objects. two things, that by day, are apart, but as the sun goes down and the shadows appear, they come closer together. you know what i mean?
