The stars in the sky were too far away,
so he caught some in his garden
and watched them dance around his bedroom
I might have got carried away. only the tiniest bit. :D
My visual interpretation of the RegularJOE's tiny story. The first thing that came to my mind was mismatched expectations in a love relationship.
originally drew this for the ghosts story, but it had already been printed. would love for someone to come up with a tiny story for this drawing!
was inspired by some old children's picture book
I was browsing through images of astro/space kinda stuff and found two awesome illustrations, so I decided to play around with them. I inverted Wirrow’s image and made their helmet’s into hearts…and wrote a tiny story inspired by Paperlilies image. Here’s the result.
One day before breakfast, an orange rolled off the counter and escaped its fate, bouncing happily through the kitchen door.
Filled with hope, the egg followed.
i m a sucker for cute food doodle!
Was looking through some records and found Balloon and fishes [Remix] by Anita. Thought it went well with OneLuckyCharmz's tiny story...
Today, the sky's filled with the sun's glow. Our shadows slink closer together and, behind our backs, hold hands.
This is REmix RECord using siibyline's a blot story and brick wall photo by chariot13.
An illustration for Ericar's Tiny Story "Zombie Gentlemen."
Zombie Gentlemen by Ericar
Zombies are such gentlemen. They love you for your brain.
the boy argued
the girl insisted
Based on InkedCanvas's excellent tiny story 'Super'
I had this image in my head of the two kids in their own superhero costumes as they faced off over this. They've even found some hitRECord merchandise to play dress-up with.
I have actually attempted colouring it in photoshop (a piss-poor attempt at that) but I'll only upload that if no-one else wants to colour this. Go on, don't you feel photoshop calling to you.
The mumble bee had a fuzzy buzz.
When he tried to say 'honey',
it came out all funny...
Metaphorest, your tiny stories are cute ; x ;
Fate and Coincidence spotted each other in a bar.
"Well, look who I ran into," smirked Coincidence.
"Please," scoffed Fate. "This was meant to be."
"when a human has insomnia, they will lay awake all night watching infomercials. when a raccoon has insomnia, it will go and catch a matinee."
OK, first time I tried to draw an insomniac raccoon... I guess it would look even more matinee-like if the seats were red. Maybe someone could help me to remix this a little. I've still got the feeling it isn't finished yet.
click on the title to see it animated. the reason i like tori's illustration for this story is cause they are dressed like theyre on an adventure.. maybe in their dads old coats or sthng
An illustration for MadisenMusic's tiny story Hursery. I didn't want to draw something obvious with skeletons so I thought a bit about a setting someone might say this sentence in and came up with this trial scenario.
And it was a good chance to draw a forest of microphones :D
Yet another illustration for this fantastic tiny story! I was rereading this tiny story the other night while listening to the soundtrack of the Japanese anime "The Garden of Sinners (part 1)" and that's when the idea for this piece came to me (those who have seen the film would probably understand the reason behind this). Oh and I FAIL at perspectives, which I blame entirely on my lack of practice in observational drawings.
A slightly modified version of my drawing for Sparksee05's tiny story. From the feedback I got on the previous version, LilacAmy11 and Spider both suggested I should "up the stake" faced by the poor egg. So I went back to the drawing, replaced the kitchen sink with an electric stove (complete with a sunny-side-up sitting in a frying pan) and added a sliced orange + various other bits around the egg. The poor egg, one do starts to wonder if he's becoming suicidal for being surrounded by such monstrosity...
