Hi folks,

I've been wanting to start a fresh hitRECord collaboration for a while now. This is an experimental film I shot last month of some barn swallows, which I hope some of you find inspiring enough to play with. Maybe add a musical accompaniment, or a VO story, or some motion graphics, or.. ?

Tech background: shot on 16mm using a Bolex camera in rural Ontario; hand processed; handpainted; digitized; colours slightly adjusted in AE.

I've always loved the shape of waveforms. So I downloaded one of Joe's videos, grabbed the audio where he said "Are we recording?" and captured the waveform, then edited it in Photoshop. This is more a conceptual thing than a finished piece!

Yeah The Viddler... WTF indeed!

I love the new words that Rochelle Boucher added to her Tiny Story! Sadly, my sweet little 3-year old daughter will need lots of practice before she can remember the words and sing along to this longer version, but she knows the 1st verse by heart now, she's even better than me! I'd still love to see a tiny film or animation come from this song or the tiny tune version if anyone feels up to it!
