Update: I finally updated the album and added all the records I used to edit this first re-recs video. I hope I didn't forget anything. You will also find the links of the public domain stuff and the records used for the second part of this "Vintage" re-recs video soon (probably in two weeks because I'm off to Berlin next week and I'll be back home September 6th).
Missing: I just don't find the record for the "real 8mm footage". I will make some research later.
All the records I used for the editing of the re-recs video.
Don't forget, the re-recommendations are in video, and you can watch it here: http://www.hitrecord.org/records/474332
(you can also find the video in the results' section of this album)
Note about the background score:
The songs used as a background music score are only from two hitRECorders - Megancarnes and Madrond101. I wanted to keep a certain homogeneity and I thought their records fit well with the "Vintage" theme of this re-recs video.
Note about the resources of this album: there are a lot of records but they are resourced twice because:
- I want them to appear in this album
- I want them to appear on the conversation page of the records (and on the activity page of the hitRECorder)
a sort of stream of consciousness-y thing ive been writing lately. i saw this timelapse vid today by bluebudgie and was really inspired to experiment with it. i understand how this might be seen as political or preachy or offensive.. but i honestly dont mean to be any of those things. it is directed at me more than anyone else. there's a lot of literary reference nod's in the text.
sub-point: the track is an instrumental version of everything is on fire
I chose this song because I moved here in 2006 (which is when RegularJOE wrote the song), and I felt very "sick" for a while. But I'm glad I went through that because now I'm stronger than ever. (I'm still a coward though. Funny thing is I'm born on Halloween, haha.)
May we all grow stronger every day.

P.S. For those who live there, tell the Los Angeles sky I said hi and that I miss him very, very much.

i am super excited for this!
For CamCam's lovely sunset footage :)
A song about romance
I started writing this outside of a starbucks downtown and finished it today 3/2/11
It's truly one of my favorites that I've done, because the past few days have been tough for me, and this song is everything I've been feeling.
It's been a while since I've written a song with just piano, so it's about that time. This piece makes me think of a Jane Austen novel, which is where it got it's name.
Part two of On The Edge. Piano score for Sur Le Fil, by Ana (Salemome)
This is one of the songs I wrote for Ana's (salemome) film Sur Le Fil.
