Every day she walked past him on her way to work.
Every day he sat by the same building and watched her in hopes she would glance in his direction. He didn't know where...
JestersAlma's picture took me a couple of seconds to figure out because I kept seeing something else. Made some slight changes - maybe you'll see it too and I'm not crazy! :-)
Apparently whilst working on both this and my contribution for the Strawberry Bootlaces collab...my lovely lady here turned red, heh. Nah, not really. I just thought she looked amusing in red sooo I colorized her. If someone would like to play with her in black and white though, I do have the original image I scanned in - just ask :]
I believe I have everyone included, if not please tell me- I want to include everybody.
oh, and funny story!
just as I was about to post this, a pop up came up and I accidentally closed out of my window, so I had to re-add all of the resources again. eek~!
there may be an easier way to do this, however- but I am a noob, so I'm unaware of all the helpful little tricks. c;
hope you enjoy. <3
Alright here are my ReRECs for the week. Please enjoy. Bare with me as I resource all of the records. But if a few days go by and you notice that I still haven't resourced your record, please let me know and I will gladly give you credit.
Just colored it in to represent this awesome website. I love this sketch so much I just had to default it! Thanks so much to the wonderfully talented SandyNgu!<3

She had a penchant for collecting vintage carry-on bags and Russian nesting dolls and kept her feelings on her sleeve for this boy she was sure she’d fallen in love with the first time she...
"No matter how far apart we are," Dark tearfully reminded Light, "at least YOU will always be able to see me."
Insecure, young Dawn folded her arms and pouted, "You only like me for my looks!" "That's not true," said her undead date. "I like you for your brains, too!"
For FrankyFray's tiny story. Sorry it's crooked.
This is a little story about a cat who can't find anyone to play music with until a friendly little bee boy tells him about a far away land called Hitrecordia.
Incase you wanted to record your own voiceovers for remixing this, I wrote out all of the dialogue here. http://hitrecord.org/records/467139
Also here is a version of the animation with just sound effects and music incase you wanted to edit in your own voice overs. http://hitrecord.org/records/467159
This was originally the intro to my ReREC video but I was asked to upload it as a seperate record, so here it is.
Oh and all of the sound effects I used that aren't resourced were all royalty free sound effects that I got when I bought the Final Cut Pro bundle.
Descartes was in the first class cabin on the flight from New York to Paris. The flight attendant asked if he would care for another drink. "I think not," he said, and vanished.
Whispers were heard while regal birds observed, as Hannah whispered into Sophie's ear.
"The gentleman from the market wishes to see you, as the evening light draws near." Sophie's ...
We both know I don’t keep very busy
Death asked me to play poker one day
I daren’t say no and we started to play
He cheated throughout and then went all in
What else could I do but let him win?
There are cities made of iron, and cities made of clay
Combined elements of tonguecutsparrow's remix of hangLOOSE's "Spring/Summer" with a bunch of the stems from theboxset's "Venice Beach beat and stems."
I could see this getting built on further with some bass, additional drums, perhaps a few cymbals here and there, maybe some seasonal ambience, and whatever else your heart may desire.
I woke up one morning and what did I see?
Death at my stove cooking breakfast for me.
Whatever he served me was cold and runny,
I ate every bite though the texture was funny.
As soon as I saw Wirrow's image, this popped into my head.
BTW, sorry that it's so huge... I wish for once I could get the image size to be at least somewhat normal-ish. Ah well...
I was too young to be old but that never stopped me
From acting like life was cruel and hackneyed
So I was sipping and sipping a strong drink before bed—
My first RECord made on Final Cut...and it was a bitch...but I suppose it's all part of the learning process.
first time attempting an animation since i lost my beloved jasc suite :'( oh, how it pains me to settle for GIMP's primitive, LQ animation resources...
A fiddlehead is the immature tops of a few specific breeds of ferns that are harvested in spring and cooked as a green vegetable. They've become a symbol of my corner of the world, not just because they grow here and people have been eating them as the first green veg of the spring, but also because celtic music is a big part of the local heritage. As to why I drew an anthropomorphic immature fern playing a fiddle? Uh...well. HEY LOOK A MOOSE!
did some pitch, speed alteration to eaneikciv's lovely Night Owl tiny tune. added some hip hop drums. could have cleaned this up a bit more but enjoyed the imperfees.
stems break down at end. :)
I decided to convert the sketches I do for my sketchbook album to solid black and white lines so that they are easier to color and play with.
Remember when you got your first "big kid" bed?
Here is an updated version of the previous "Pocket Autopsy Collaboration (teaser)" with a new (and much more uptempo) soundtrack, a "coming attractions" title card, some additional sound effects, and some different cuts here and there.
Same goal as v1 though: Promote the collaboration in a teaser trailer format.
Two of my favorite collaborations at HR right now: The Chibirecorders and mirtle's drawings, this is a remix of the crowd awaits by mirtle, the chibis by SandyNgu and regular joe :o)
Sometimes imaginary friends are not as cuddly as we'd like them to be but, alas, they'd still love a spot of tea.
Slightly better version: http://www.hitrecord.org/records/468300
as interpreted by me for the "out of character" collab .. i mentioned to penelope that her poem made me think of reciting this in a "tough guy" persona kind of way... and thought it would be cool to try to remix RECords that might seem "out of character" ...you know, reading or acting out records in an unexpected way... i don't know. it might work :)
One morning Death came and offered me
A drive to my job which was in the city
The driving was so awful; I was grateful to arrive
My relief was short-lived as Death said: “See you at ...
