Taken with a Canon EOS 450D and my new 70-300mm lens

JestersAlma's picture took me a couple of seconds to figure out because I kept seeing something else. Made some slight changes - maybe you'll see it too and I'm not crazy!  :-)

Apparently whilst working on both this and my contribution for the Strawberry Bootlaces collab...my lovely lady here turned red, heh. Nah, not really. I just thought she looked amusing in red sooo I colorized her. If someone would like to play with her in black and white though, I do have the original image I scanned in - just ask :]

I believe I have everyone included, if not please tell me- I want to include everybody.

oh, and funny story!

just as I was about to post this, a pop up came up and I accidentally closed out of my window, so I had to re-add all of the resources again. eek~!

there may be an easier way to do this, however- but I am a noob, so I'm unaware of all the helpful little tricks. c;

This little camomile plant was growing up through the middle of my road. Persistent little thing, eh?

This is a little story about a cat who can't find anyone to play music with until a friendly little bee boy tells him about a far away land called Hitrecordia.

This was originally the intro to my ReREC video but I was asked to upload it as a seperate record, so here it is.

Oh and all of the sound effects I used that aren't resourced were all royalty free sound effects that I got when I bought the Final Cut Pro bundle.

Combined elements of tonguecutsparrow's remix of hangLOOSE's "Spring/Summer" with a bunch of the stems from theboxset's "Venice Beach beat and stems."

I could see this getting built on further with some bass, additional drums, perhaps a few cymbals here and there, maybe some seasonal ambience, and whatever else your heart may desire.

My first RECord made on Final Cut...and it was a bitch...but I suppose it's all part of the learning process.

first time attempting an animation since i lost my beloved jasc suite :'( oh, how it pains me to settle for GIMP's primitive, LQ animation resources...

A fiddlehead is the immature tops of a few specific breeds of ferns that are harvested in spring and cooked as a green vegetable. They've become a symbol of my corner of the world, not just because they grow here and people have been eating them as the first green veg of the spring, but also because celtic music is a big part of the local heritage. As to why I drew an anthropomorphic immature fern playing a fiddle? Uh...well. HEY LOOK A MOOSE!

did some pitch, speed alteration to eaneikciv's lovely Night Owl tiny tune.  added some hip hop drums. could have cleaned this up a bit more but enjoyed the imperfees.

Here is an updated version of the previous "Pocket Autopsy Collaboration (teaser)" with a new (and much more uptempo) soundtrack, a "coming attractions" title card, some additional sound effects, and some different cuts here and there.

Same goal as v1 though: Promote the collaboration in a teaser trailer format.

Two of my favorite collaborations at HR right now: The Chibirecorders and mirtle's drawings, this is a remix of the crowd awaits by mirtle, the chibis by SandyNgu and regular joe :o)

Sometimes imaginary friends are not as cuddly as we'd like them to be but, alas, they'd still love a spot of tea.

as interpreted by me for the "out of character" collab .. i mentioned to penelope that her poem made me think of reciting this in a "tough guy" persona kind of way... and thought it would be cool to try to remix RECords that might seem "out of character" ...you know, reading or acting out records in an unexpected way... i don't know. it might work :)
