Acoustic and electric guitars, Hofner bass, drums, harmonica. And lots of reverb.
Acoustic and electric guitars, bass, looped drums, tambourine, theremin, and some sound effects.
By, by the slowly flowing river
The skyline is a tangled sheen
My soul is in the hands of my love
She smiles with one eye weeping
By the velvet lights above us
Like cosmic candles in plastic boats
She is just like I imagined
We smile with both sides burning
La la la lapis
La la lazuli
Finally I
Finally I hope for what I have
Finally I
Finally I am not profoundly sad
A quickly recorded, low-fidelity idea for a song.
Guess I'll Never See The Light + Stars In The Night = See The Light.

This is based on Synth-o-rama. Brilliant stuff, Mr. Fischer.
A track for an album (yet to be released) titled As The Head Turns, which (I hope) will benefit the fight to prevent the causes of homelessness.
Instrumentation: vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums, cello, violins, piano, droning tamboura, handclaps, tambourine, and church bell chimes.
I plan on re-recording this song, as the original demo is...well, a demo, which is fairly self-evident. But I added a string quartet-type sound toward the end that I hope to expand upon in the final version.
Let me know what you think, or what needs work, or if you'd like to put this over your fireplace. ^_^
Question: Despite the fact that this is free for the taking, would you actually pay to download a song like this? Because, if it weren't for the fact that I am on it, I would.
Spaceship: music, lyrics, vocals, piano, rhythm and slide guitar, synth bass
Metaphorest: lyrics, vocals
Monkeychow: vocals, bass
I made some slight adjustments to this! Let me know what you think it needs, as your input can change the final result. The album "As the Head Turns" drops on November 22. ^_^
"Sean" is the first track on the album As the Head Turns (Amazon, CD Baby). HitRECord is the first place I have chosen to release the track for free. I may even post stems soon...
Please, please, please let me know what you guys think! And remember that half of the proceeds from the album and its songs go to the NAEH (National Alliance to End Homelessness). Thanks!
Words and music: public domain.
(The wav. version of this wasn't working, so reuploading as an .mp3!)
I am planning for my next project to be a multimedia movie musical. It will be both a visual and audio experience that would work both as an album and a video.
"Be Careful" is a flying shard of a song fragment that will perhaps become part of this loose collective of jumbled poems that hum. And by perhaps I mean most definitely.
All forthcoming uploads of this sort will be limited to guitar and/or piano and vocals. No other frills, no other spills, no other cheap thrills, no electric bills.
Any creative contributions you would like to make to this or said future fragments may feature on this faintly fully-formed final folio. In other words: I'd like for you to be on this endeavor with me. That is, if you want to, maybe.
Be warned: the bottom drops out halfway through! <3
This is a tiny tune I composed that will become a song of gigantic, huge, epic, and hyperbolic proportions. Enjoy. <3
