So since it's my one year hitRECord anniversary, I'm doing something a bit different with my re-recs. These are the RECords that I'm most proud to have been a part of for the year I've been on hitRECord.
Thank you all so much for giving me so much support and inspiration. I have grown so much as a musician and a person from being a part of this wonderful community <3
this is my collaboration with tonguecutsparrow. he wrote and recorded the guitar part, sent it to me, and i added the other instruments. enjoy!
i cut up bits of megan's beautiful song. i have a complicated relationship with these 4 chords.
its 64bpm [or 128]

Never, ever let it be said that I like making life easy for myself. No, instead of choosing just one of the many lovely texts written for the Pocket Autopsy collab, I decided to choose them all. And then mash them into one mega-video. The result, I'm pretty sure, makes no logical or coherent sense. Or, if you look at it from another angle, maybe it's not supposed to. Maybe it's all new-age and pretentious and artsy. Maybe I did that on purpose. I say "maybe" because I've been working on and off on this video for a week, And part of that "on" was the last twelve hours straight with only stops for necessities like food. Is it good? I have no idea. But it's done.
On the bright side, in the process of making this, I did get a very extensive tour through pretty much every video put up on hitRECord. Ever. You only think I am joking.
..... or is it? Huge thanks to everyone that contributed!
This is me singing along with Megan's beautiful piano cover of wirrow's 'the atom song'
for stevie :) and wirrow obviously. and everyone else.
once upon a time, tia fischer asked me to work on her song, so i added piano, strings and bells. the end.
