Additional Notes:

1. No re-recs this week. This video (which I have taken to referring to as "the beast") took up all my time and energy, to the point where I forgot to even look at what people were putting up on hR for most of the week. I'm relying on you guys to tell me what I missed, because there's way too much for me to go through otherwise.


2. I used a butt-ton of public domain resources. If one of them interests you, leave me a note with the time at which it was used and I can probably go back and find it. I tried to keep an organized list of resources for all the public domain I used, but it was way too difficult.


3.   Per usual, I used roughly a bazilion different videos, so if I either fail to resource yours or resource something I didn't end up using, leave me a note letting me know.


4. I consider this a mostly finished product but, as always, I'm open to and welcome revising and suggestions.


5. This video was brought to you by Trader Joe's popsicles, which I consumed a frankly obscene number of in order to fuel the making of this monster. I couldn't have done it without you guys. You were both magnificent and delicious.

To my dear friend, I hope you recieve my written letter in heaven. 

My friend posted this on facebook, It's not copyrighted. It brought back some memories of talking with my dad who was in Vietnam too. I remember when he was giving me a talk about never judging a person because of there race/gender/sexual orientation but by the person they were. He brought up defending a fellow soldier in his unit that was thought to be gay and he defended him. He brought up that this soldier did the same job the rest of them did, was highly respected among everybody before the accusation's were brought up and it was complete nonsense to get rid of him as he still wanted to fight and back up the rest of his friends and he should be treated no different. Later on him and my dad along with a couple others from the 299th combat engineers received Silver stars for defending a spot in the Dakto Defense.

I absolutely fell in love with this story..It's so airy and graceful...)

I loved Metaphorest's mix of Escape Artists! I asked her if I could make her vocal addition part of the final mix, as I plan to include the song on a new album entitled As the Head Turns. And she said yes! And passed along the isolated harmony tracks. So again, here is my song. With Sarah's help, of course. :)

One of the very first collaborations I took part in on hitRECord was with the amazing Jenyffer.Maria - she asked for a sentence to inspire a drawing so I gave her: , "And that was when Walter realised that his beloved 'Minky' was, in fact, a common sewer rat..." and she came up with a beautiful illustration. And now that I know how to - I have coloured it in. :)

Found an amazing geometric illustration by Elerin and became a little obsessed with colouring it in. :) Thanks again to belcath1981 for sharing her photoshop tips!

Here you will hear Day Glo's "Strawberry Bootlaces" piece underscored by me playing piano. Love the British accent; hope the score is as loveable. Interestingly, I've actually lived the scenario so eloquently narrated... quite true to life, it is. Every bite.

This is a little story about a cat who can't find anyone to play music with until a friendly little bee boy tells him about a far away land called Hitrecordia.

This was originally the intro to my ReREC video but I was asked to upload it as a seperate record, so here it is.

Oh and all of the sound effects I used that aren't resourced were all royalty free sound effects that I got when I bought the Final Cut Pro bundle.

I cannot believe that I have been a HITRECORDER for 1 whole year! It feels like I just signed up actually! Well it has been an amazing ride and I cannot wait for whats to come! Thank you to everyone who has inspired me throughout this year! I have never felt such beautiful creative energy before in my life! HitRECord means so much to me and its an honor to share and create with all of you! Here's to many more years of creating and collaborating!

A drawing I did a while back which I added some colours and textures to - it's a little bit wonky :) The beautiful scene in the background is by mostlyharmless.

I've been working on this for a couple days. Not sure if I'm 100% in love with it but I wanted to release it today since it's my 1 year hitRECordiversary! Just thought I would expand on this. Let me know if I've missed a resource. :o)
