Okay the last version I uploaded was the condensed condensed version but here it is complete. 

Understand that if I'm walking  and its you that i see don't start talking just let me be avoiding you is what I'm going to do We can't meet not us two out of sight out of mind it takes might it takes time maybe some exes remain friends but that's not our case we have no loose ends and it's best if i don't see your face then i can forget look ahead with no regrets about what could be said what we had is all in the past all that remains is the memory and i'd rather forget it all fast so my future won't be put in jeopardy because with you i can only look back i don't see a future with you i only see what we lacked and moving on is what I need to do.

Inspired by what said Joesph said to Anne Hathaway how he loved having things read outloud and by the awesome performances of At the Movies I decided to get in on the act and bring some of my own poems to life.

Catrena L. Chatman drew this for the tiny story but she couldn't upload it so I did for her but all credit goes to Catrena!

Daci wanted to make a wish too! She lost her tooth yesterday and felt the tooth fairy underpaid her when she found a dollar doesn't buy a whole lot (some 10 dollar yo-yo at school she wanted for instance).

For Ryan Patrick's collab. My footage is pretty craptastic so sorry in advance and i tried to stay off camera as much as i could since i feel this is about the writing the records and not me per say and also cause i would look like i let myself go (no make-up, wearing my glasses but hey i'm on vacay :) thanks to everyone who hearted and commented because yall really helped. i handwrote my memory book because my printer is down but i think i like it as its neat. happy holidays and hoping for a good next year.

I don't have the best equipment so the footage is def not professional perfect (so sorry!) and also my sound is crap and doesn't sync properly to the vid but hopefully you can still make out my story.

Well I decided to rewrite it once more so that's why it took me so long. I'm over 300 records can hardly believe it!

Dacia as Dracula. This wasnt meant to be silent as we recorded thinking there would be sound but there was none. However as a silent fillm fan I decided to go for it. Happy Halloween Hitrecord!

In my search for guy singers I came across this gem of a track and immediately fell in love. I think it goes perfect with the Fuchsia storyline-Melody really saw no other way and although she had Dacia she definitely felt like she was being left alone! This is what makes hitrecord amazing-that I can actually hear an amazing track like this and use it in a remix. Equally amazing that I was able to find great art and animation to remix too! This can definitely be further remixed so anyone feel free to add on, change, or edit. Thanks

*Yes I finally found extensions that nailed the fuchsia hair color I was going for!! Yay! (I have to angle the camera a little weird since I'm not wearing them the way they're meant to be worn-UNDER YOUR HAIR LOL). I'm able to bring to life the Melody I envisioned! Still need a guy singer to cover Fuchsia Flower-so please if you're reading this and you can record it please do!  Thank you!!!!!!!!

*On a side note this was improv so I actually got mixed up-Wind Over Wings is the band the character Joe is in and Origins and Tall Tales is the band with Aaron and Melody. Oops!

*Update* 3/30/12-have added this to the character collab and it is open for all kinds of remixing-anyone can feel free to chsange the story up to meet their needs but I feel that Melody Mitchells-the woman with the fuchsia hair is a strong character on her own-I think she could make a cool comic strip or could be added to any story that anyone is welcome to create. Would be very honored! Alright back to studying!

Two days early but i'm in recovery don't really have much else to do!

I'm really not sure about this edit-especially the ending but I didn't want it to be humorless. i mostly went through the vids that had independent movies on them and I can't remember who all talked about films in other vids as I've watched a lot of vids-but since there is still room to grow just leave me a suggestion as a comment. 

Ok so this should pick up right where Julie ended in the other vid talking about stories but the uploader is quite cranky and wouldn't let me combine them by saying and I quote: "File too big 400mb isn't enough for you?" or something like that so my product is complete but split exactly down the middle! Let me know what you think of this new edit-I'll try to upload a zip with the complete version if the cranky thing allows. Thanks for the help with the much needed guy inclusions to KarlaMarie and Rita Verdades! If for some reason I didn't give you credit please leave me a comment below. Thanks!

My favorite lines from the awesome vids that have been submitted to the collab! Hope this helps a bit for future edits and remixes. One thing I will say is: ESTROGEN POWER! Seriously the vid is lacking a bit of testosterone so guys-the more the merrier so please submit! In fact more of everybody would be great as I used all the clips of talky bits I could find. I may do another edit bout the indy music/movies but a bit more footage is needed.

Still on vacay so I'm independent of makeup for the time being so excuse my appearance. just a relaxed chat with the camera on the balcony outside. 

i typed in pink in the browse search section and I chose as many would fit in this royalty free song I found. I like pretty girly things and I've been called girlygirl many a time.  lot of these images may be a couple of years old but they're fantastic to look at-enjoy!

Also Cisco's who and eyes are included but it was impossible to resource so here's a mention.

A Dizzy Day, classic cartoon from Van Beuren Studios - 1933 and Steamboat Bill, Jr. 1928 from archive.org and both in public domain were clips I used. I was able to combine my love of the classics for this song. 

*Update I went against my better judgement and did the cliche opening of it being a dream sequence-how about no! -_-

So in between cramming I've been rewriting and revisioning my story to see if its something I even want to continue so I'm adding it to the feedback collab two chapters in to see if I should keep going with this angle or change it once more. Couldn't have done this without RP's music album with awesome instrumentals. So I had a lightbulb idea not sure if it will work out but basically I took my text and turned it into a text video with music and see if that makes for a more enjoyable way to read it as I know how difficult it can be to get into a long piece of text. This is part of Fuchsia Film Script Collab and there is lots to be done: live action piece, voice overs art musical score, editing and adding-anything and there's something for everyone. Looking for music for part two mainly instrumentals so please if you could suggest something that would be great!

One of the rarer times I write a poem by hand but I was in the waiting room of a clinic (those places are kind of depressing-old age woohoo) and I didnt have my laptop with me but I always try to have a pen and paper on hand. 

I love the music of Astrud Gilberto and this was exactly what I needed as it sounds similar to that sound some music to take me far away to Brazil

I finally got in character as Melody. Please read Fuchsia!

Here's the plot read outloud I'm a poor typer so I'll type it up bits at a time.

Dacia's packing her bags as she's preparing to go over to her Dad's singing and dancing a song she wrote along with her guitar recording it all as a video for her dad. Melody, her aunt, walks in and tells her to hurry up. Melody drives dacia to her dad's apartment which is very close by. Dacia's excited about spending the night at her Dad's apartment for the first time in years.  Melody's excited to get a day all to herself and plans to go to a club to see a concert that night. They arrive to the apartment only to find that the apartment is dark so Melody asks Dacia to wait outside while she goes in to see what's going on. Dacia reluctantly sits down on the sidewalk with her bags. Melody walks in and at first can't find her brother but soon finds him lying next to the bed on the floor clearly drunk as a skunk. Melody is furious; she had called him last night and their last few visits had been overwhelmingly positive. Now it was another story. He's unapolegetic which further infuriates melody and in a rage she proceeds to try to expell every single last drop of alcohol from the apartment. He stumbles after her but she succeed at spilling all the beer from his fridge to the sink. When she heads to the bathroom where his secret stash is hidden behind some towels, he tries to stop her but she pushes him away and he falls into the bathtub. However when he sees her trying to spill his ex's Alexa favorite wine they have a struggle and Melody unable to keep it away from him by slamming it against the sink until the bottle eventually breaks in her hands. Unfortunately it slices her ring finger on her right hand quite deep and blood is everywhere. Her brother David seeing that she is injured doesn't offer her any help and proceeds to simply mourn over loss of his precious wine. Melody grabs a towel and storms out.

Dacia upon seeing her injured aunt with a bloody towel freaks out but melody tries to keep everything normal by simply growling at Dacia to get in the car. This further freaks Dacia out as clearly Melody can't drive, so she begs her not to. Melody seeing she's right and knowing she's unable to ask her drunkard of her brother to drive them home gets out of the car and they proceed to walk home though Dacia rather they go to hospital but Melody assures her that all she needs is a band-aid and some neosporin and that her brother didn't have any.

Meanwhile Joe Dareson is driving down the road of a small town jamming out in his truck when he spots unusually colored hair on a woman walking down the side of a road from a distance. he also sees a small young girl walking with her. As he nears them he sees that the small young girl is crying her eyes out and the fuchsia hair colored woman has a bloody towel wrapped around her hand. He immediately pulls over to help them out. The young girl is eager to accept but Melody tries to play it off as a scratch. Joe takes one look at the cut and knows she needs stitches and scoots them into his truck to drive them to the nearest hospital. When they arrive to the emergency room Melody is quickly passed through to the back where she's quickly wrapped up, her bloody towel disposed of and sent back to the waiting room to wait her turn for stitches. 

In the waiting room, Joe who's stuck around is interrogated by Dacia. They found out that he was on his way to town to play at concert, the very concert Melody was going to attend; however she's none too thrilled to discover that he's a musician, just like her ex Aaron. Melody is called inside at last but Dacia wants to stay with Joe who she's taken a liking to. Melody is reluctant but agrees though she asks the staff at the desk to keep thier eyes on them as she heads in.

Lacking creativity I turned to one of the most creative persons on hitrecord metaphorest for inspiration. If not for Meta I'm not sure i would have stuck around here the second go round. Thanks for all the hearts Meta and I dont think you ever saw the holiday poem i wrote for you so i added it to the resources.

I have so much work (tests, assignments, etc,) that i should not be on hitrecord but i havent uploaded anything in ages so just wanted to say im still around i still love hitrecord-just its such a busy time! <3 Melissa aka melismayhem

Because I have two ridiculously hard tests to study for and a paper to write this weekend. I kid you not one test is so hard that last time the class received a ten point curve so most of us could pass! I'm skating by with a C but I havent given up hope on making an A or at the very least a B. The point scale is odd but with group project points hopefully I'll squeak by. Its been awhile since I did rerecs-since I was recovering from surgery- but there was a lot of awesome things to recommend! This might just be it from me this weekend-have to switch off creative mode for school mode-oh well it will be over soon!

P.S. Also I'm takin a cue from Marcelle who focuses mostly on video editors in her rerec videos so I tried to focus mostly on new writers-so disappointed that a lot of great text recorders I recommended last year have since abandoned the site-I think its important to try to retain the talent.

The last thing I desire to write-basically its the love story of my parents. A part of me thinks I should have quit writing right when my Dad died-and maybe if he hadn't died I would have but its official-I'm quitting not only hitrecord but writing. I want to thank everyone for all the hearts and all the love and support! I will NEVER forget it!

*P.S. This was an original story I wrote that I meant to publish but I dont intend to publish it anymore. Anyone can feel free to remix it-make artwork-act it out whatever you wish-the hitrecord way. Or simply read it. I decided to upload it here since this is really where it all began for me this second go round and I find it fitting that it end here also!
