Time again for the battle of the RECords.
1. belcath wins not only for the gorgeous photos but gets serious points for organization.
2. Melanne has made one of the funniest and yet really well done vids ever. I never get tired of watching it.
3. Metaphorest is the master of all words and her words here rule the roost.
4. DropDeadSuit-this should be a comic strip or an illustration for a book or something...because it's just too good to not be anything else.
5. Woman flower is one of my favorite things ever and it's stupid it doesn't have more hearts. Look at it! Beauty. I want to remix it a million times over.
6. I love littleindian's work and voice so much. She needs to sing more.
7. moffy makes me laugh here. I'm totally rooting for these two. There should be more work with this.
8. Blbest has written the perfect love poem. It makes me want to have this kind of love.
9. Seldelaterre's vocal style and songs are very fresh and original. It's never exactly the same thing.
10. Dwayne, is one of my favorite things ever, and he sings with such emotion and depth here.

Update (11.6.11): the second costume in this video was my costume for Halloween this year. I should have tried something else... it wasn't very practical when I wanted to drink or eat something...

I wanted to apologize for not being able to make re-recs albums for the next few weeks (I'm on the move). I tried to make it up to all my readers by making this video (last week) with some records I would have re-recommended:
- "I Have No Cats": songs and collaboration
- the "hitRECord Mugshots" collaboration (and records)
- Call-In Song Requests: there are fantastic contributions!
- K-REC Stingers and the hitRECord 'Radio'
I also wanted to talk about the lip-syncing technique: I think it's not used enough for music videos in general and I would like to see how you would use it...
ok my example/ video is not the best one, but it really was just for fun. I couldn't shoot with some friends so I had to do it myself (and I'm not an actress as you can see hahaha) but for once, I wanted to show you what I had in mind and not write some suggestions or ideas for a video remix...
I didn't have much time for the editing but I will re-work on it when I'll be back. So, it's a work in progress as I'm still not completely satisfied with it.
Thanks again to tonguecutsparrow for the song and lyrics. I wouldn't have been able to make this video without the lyrics! ;)

The first cut of "Missing," the song I wrote a few weeks ago.
This started with a poem. This one has a lot of meaning, at least to me.
